I'm starting to really enjoy accounting, who would guess? From wanting to work with make up to some serious business. Maybe I should become an accountant? Well, I like it, but I don't know if I would want to have that as my profession all my life. Uh, I'm starving so I have to get something to eat and then finish some financial statements!

A crave for salt

Craving salt can be because of several reasons. One of them can be that your body lacks the minerals that can be found in natural salt, that has been filtrated away in table salt. If you have to put salt on your food, use ecologic natural sea salt. Another reason, and what I think is the most common one, is that through many years, your body and taste buds have been accustomed to a lot of salt. Therefor you've created an addiction to salt, and salty (often unhealthy) food.
A crave for salt can also be due to a lot of stress, it's a symptom of adrenal exhaustion. It is also linked to some serious health conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and sickle cell anemia. If you all of a sudden crave a lot of salt, you should go and see a doctor.
I almost never put any salt on my food. If I make dinner for myself, everything is salt-free. Although, natural sea salt contains minerals your body need (which you can get from food too).
Switch table salt to natural sea salt, try to use less every time you cook and you'll gradually lower your intake. If you for example crave french fries - cook haricots verts and use natural sea salt. I'm not a salt junkie at all, but I hope that will help :)

Green detox
I just made something I think I'll become addicted to... I love it! I defrosted some small green peas, heated them up. Added basil, mustard seeds and pepper. Mixed it with a hand blender... oh YUMMIE! I'm on a detox now because I havent been well lately so I need to get some unwanted stuff out of my body.
All greens! My mixed kick-ass delicious peas, spinach and broccoli. Whats so funny is that I'm so full I wouldn't even have room for a piece of chocolate, which I almost always crave after dinner.

Breakfast that flushes out the fat

Grapefruit flushes the fat away! I started my day with a red grapefruit. It has a very bitter taste but it is very good for you, so like with everything else, you'll learn to love it! A grapefruit is also very low in calories, one is about 80. It is very important to me that I get everything I need everyday, vitamins, minerals and such. Therefor, I take one multivitamins for females a day. Also four "Silica" pills a day, two at breakfast and two for lunch. Those are good for your skin, hair and nails. If you get skinny by starvation, don't get the vitamins and minerals your body needs... It doesn't matter how small your waist is... you will not look good if your body doesn't get what it needs.

Here's one tip that might be one of the best. A high metabolism will make your fat melt away. Cayenne pepper is accordingly to me a magic spice. It raises your metabolism! During my weight loss, I used this spice in everything! Literally everything! If you're not used to spicy food it can be difficult to start with this tip, but when you notice what it does to you, you'll love it! I just came back from a 60 minute power walk (burns more fat than running the same distance, I'll tell you more about that in a future post). It's time for my first meal of the day, right before that, I drink this magic drink, have my "breakfast" and then drink a cup of green tea.
Get a big empty bottle, pour in some cayenne pepper (start with less). Squeeze in half of a lemon or lime, shake the bottle and take a few sips. Keep the bottle refrigerated and sip on it during the day. Hot spices also makes you less hungry. Awesome huh? :)

I've been feeling sick all morning. I went out for a walk when I woke up but as soon as I came back home everything started spinning and had a feeling that I was about to throw up... (too much info?) So I took a bucket, put it next to my bed and just waited for it. Nothing came up! (hurray!).

My hair has been really messed up because of the damage bleaching has done to it. I used to always have my hair in a pony tail but noticed that it cuts off the hair where the rubber is. So now I let it hang loose as often as I can and only wear it in a pony tail when I'm at the gym. Try to not wash it too often, every third or forth day is good for your hair. Washing it too often dries it out and it becomes thinner. If you wash it often and want to try to wait a few days, use a dry shampoo that you spray in your hair. It makes it feel fresh without washing it.
The products I use when I wash it is from Joico. I have never tried anything better! My hair is much thicker now than before and I don't lose as much. If you can, try to stay away from any tools with heat. Don't blow dry it every time it's wet, let it dry but itself. Let the straightener rest some days too :)

Anyway, I slept well for once and woke up to the beautiful sun. Feels like I haven't seen it in forever. Time to go out for a walk and then study all day.
I found a website yesterday. You upload a photo of yourself and see how you would look if you gain or lose weight. I dont think that it's accurate at all, or even close to.. But I found it funny :)

During my weigh loss, I drank a lot of green tea between meals. Some say that it can raise your metabolism, some studies also claim that drinking green tea reduces the risk of cancer. Hot drinks makes you crave less and makes you feel full. Drink one cup if you feel hunger pains while being on a diet. If you don't like green tea, you'll learn to like it! I used to hate tea but it helped me out so much that I now enjoy a cup :)

Curd cream is the same as the Swedish "Kesella". Many body builders use it because it's very high in protein. I eat it instead of yogurt or sour cream because of the low fat content. (choose the light version)

How many times a week and how far will I have to run to lose 10 kg in 2 months?
Exercise gives your weight loss a boost, but the most important thing is what you eat. I would say that the diet is about 80% of your weight loss. Running is the best way to burn calories, but don't go out to strong. Start with maybe 3km the first week, 4km next week and so on if you're not used to running. When you're up to 10km in an hour, start with HIIT (high intensive interval training). Run as fast as you can for a while and then start jogging for a few minutes, and then run fast again and do that for a while, burns a lot of fat! That's what I do now.

When you bleach your teeth, do you use the gel even on chewing surfaces or only on front teeth? Thought it would look strange to me if I had white front teeth, but still had yellow back teeth. So I poured on the gel everywhere which made the tube empty very quick. In your videos, it looks like you have consistently whiteness of teeth throughout the mouth, it's so nice!

Then I would also say that I think lot about your hair and wonder if you can not make a video or photo series on how the styles and what products you use, just for everyday use as well :)
I only bleach the teeth that are visible when I smile. I've stopped doing it for a while but they still look quite white. First time I bleached them with Dentaworks was a year ago, I haven't used that many tubes.

I run 5 days a week now. Some days I run for an hour, some days for 30 minutes. When I started, I ran every day until I lost 10 kg, then I had one rest day a week. I ran for about an hour every day.

I tried on a B cup yesterday, which fitted (used to have a DD).
I don't weight myself any longer because I had a drastic weight drop not long ago due to an accident. The numbers on the scale and how my body looked scared me. But I would guess I weight about 55 kg.
I am very happy with how I look now. I don't want to lose more weight right now. Though if I would feel fat, I would cut back on something.
No, didn't create any stretch marks due to the weight loss. I had stretch marks before because I was huge. I wouldn't say no to live in New York city, but that process is quite difficult.
Before I turn 30, I'll have a great education, work my way up to the top and by then I wont live in Sweden.

How to stay in control over what you eat
I just got back home from an awesome dinner and my stomach feels so much better because I went easy on the sweets. Some of you wonder how I manage to stay this weight and say no to "bad things". Well, I don't always say no. Our body tells us what it needs and when it wants it. It is also satisfied with very little of that specific thing, you just have to know when to stop. So, what did I do tonight to control myself? The mind is the most powerful tool you have, use it in the right way and it can make dramatic changes.
What to think and do when you have your typical binge food in front of you;

- Have a glas of water, zip on it for a while, maybe you'll realize that you don't really want the sweets.
- Think to yourself, "If I don't have this piece today, I'll wake up happy and proud of myself tomorrow" (With a flatter tummy and a guilt-free mind)
- Think about what it's made of, where every ingredient comes from. If something is with heavy cream, it comes from a cows tit, do you still want it?
- Look for something else that is healthier but still tasty
- Still want a piece? Have one, relax for 15 minutes. By then your body should be satisfied with what it got and you'd probably be in control of yourself.
- NEVER start a binge. NEVER! As soon as you think that "Ah, whatever... I can eat this today and work out harder tomorrow" Do not binge! It will make you feel sick, sorry and frustrated and you've got yourself an beginning to an eating disorder.
- Think to yourself how you would look after too much food. And then picture yourself how you would look when you eat clean, healthy food. I picture myself as one of those sad people that are stuck in bed for years because they are obese. And then I think about how I look now, and decide that I want to stay this way.
- Tell yourself "I can have it if I want to, but I wont today"
- Love yourself enough to not enter a self destructive behavior ♥

Dinner with an ill stomach
My stomach is fucked up. It's hurting like hell and screaming at me to take it easy with the sweets... I ate some "not-so-good" food last night, very tasty though. And now I'm going to my aunt to eat duck! YUMMIE! We are having a "valentines day" dinner today, since they all are busy tomorrow, but I'm not :( Have to remember to stay away from the sweets... my stomach is really killing me :( Haven't been able to eat anything today, drinking a glas of water is difficult, feels like it's gonna go straight out again.

Will your boobs disappear?
Boobs, don't we just love them? At least I always loved mine, now and before. I guess thats the only thing I really loved on my body before... my boobs. They were enormous! When I look at them now, they are no longer enormous but I couldn't care less. I love every inch of my body now, I seriously think that my body is perfect and have no shame in saying this. No one should.
A frequent question and concern is if your boobs will disappear when you loose weight. They obviously will become smaller, depending on how much weight you lose. It's up to you if you want to sacrifice a piece of them to become smaller overall.

I always got comments about my boobs and nothing else. With smaller babies, people see my whole body, without staring at a specific body part. I like it that way :)

Basically I just pick out whatever veggies I have in the fridge and freezer and make a soup out of it. I never fry anything. If I use the pan, I add water instead of fat and let it simmer. Cooking time depends on what you're cooking... I just taste it after a while and see if it's done, by done I mean if it's seasoned enough (for my taste) and if it's soft enough and so on. I'm kind of an expert when it comes to calories, and I know that veggies barely have any... so just pick the veggies you like, cook or grill them, season and say abracadabra and you'll have a low calorie meal :)

Keep on running and you'll notice how great your legs will look, strong but leaner with muscles and less fat, just be patient :)

Season it and add water for it to cook in, then pop it in the oven until it's well done.

Add veggies, here I have carrots, cucumber, a splash of apple cider vinegar and guess what else, curd cream!

Welcome Wednesday!
I've been studying all morning and then went out for a walk. It's still pretty cold and my face almost cracked when I woke up! Even though I moisturize and take very good care of my skin, this weather is destroying it. Oh well, spring is here soon I hope. Going to the gym in an hour to run a little, can't wait until I can run outside again, it's way to cold now which is NOT good for you! So don't run outside now. When I walk every morning, I see people running and that is just stupid... You become sweaty and breath in cold air which is not good for your throat or your body. I prefer running outside, the gym is boring and I feel like a hamster while I run on the treadmill, feels kinda useless and that I waste time... I'm not going anywhere, just one leg in front of the other on the same spot. But I love running so the treadmill will do for now.

Crave sugar?
I'm a sugar junkie like I've told you before. I eat candy sometimes because I don't have more weight to lose and I work out on a regular basis, and I work out hard! But sometimes when I crave sugar like hell and I don't want to start a self destructing behavior on a weekday, there's some herbs and spices that can help you! Mix them with your food everyday, even if you don't crave sugar at that time, it can last until later when you normally would want sugar.

I want to go out
I live in a small town and not much is going on here... but anyway... I want to go out for a walk, but it feels kinda scary. I mean it's pitch dark outside, but what could happen? Oh dear, I'm such a pussy... I can walk to whole foods in Manhattan when it's dark but can't go out for a walk in my hometown.
Should I? it's 11pm and I can't fall asleep before 2 am... I mean, I look like a huge man when I go out in my expedition-north-pole-outfit, so no one would dare to attack me.

Though this is kinda complicated and shouldn't be something you think about constantly, just use your common sense and don't binge in food, whatever it is. I said that you can eat as many vegetables as you want to, but don't be a pig and eat several kilos a day, it will not be good for your stomach. It will stretch out and you'd get used to eat a lot of food (been there, done that).

For weight loss, skip the bread and pasta part until you reached your goal. Vegetables, fruit and berries are basically only carbs, but you should not skip them, they contain important vitamins. Eat a protein source every day, but don't go crazy on that as many do. If you eat to many proteins, it will end up as fat on your body! If you eat too much of anything, it will become fat because your body can't burn everything off. Skip the fat part, you can get all the fat you need from fish, nuts (be careful with the nuts, very high in calories) and meet. Boil or grill your food without fat added.
Make yourself a smoothie tomorrow morning with berries and fruit, add some curd cream or low fat yogurt (without sugar, read the label!!!!). Or just drink it as it is :) Check in on my blog frequently and I'll give you more healthy tips on what to eat!

When I hear that I am an inspiration to you and others, it makes me happy, so thank you! :) This person wants to lose 6 kg, but wonders how it will affect her skin, if it will sag and hang loose and if there is a way to work out to make the skin firm. First of all, there is no way you can work out to get firmer skin, the only way to make it firm is to build muscle and become bigger, the skin will then strech. I don't know how old you are, but a difference of 6 kg wont be noticable at all in your skin. If you are older, and have much more to loose, the skin will probably sag. My skin doesn't sag at all... my stomach sags a little if I havent been working my abs for a while, but that it not because of my skin. Peel your skin with a special peeling glove, moisturize, eat healthy and work out on a regular basis. Your skin wont sag after 6 kilos :) At my heavy weight, I had a big belly and it was also sagging because of fat... The difference now... well... I'll let you be the judge.

Veggie soup

Sorry for the shitty presentation... it looks kind disgusting but it isn't! Mushroom, sauerkraut, tomatoes, chili, garlic, carrots and curd cream (have I become addicted to curd cream?) Anyway, I made a lot and this is half of it, about 100 calories :) Make a soup of mixed veggies, you can have as much as you want without feeling guilty!

Sunday evening concert
I suck at making good photos in Photo Booth... Uh, but I wanted to show my dress which I never had on before, it's just been hanging in my closet, waiting to be on me. I'm going out with my mother! She has always been there for me, supporting me in every way which I can't thank her enough for. As a teenager, I was a moron, did everything I should not have done and had a rotten attitude. I love her to death and would give up everything for her. So I decided to give her a surprise tonight. If I could afford it, I would take her around the world but as a student, this is what I can give her now. (Can't tell you what it is until later tonight, she reads my blog).


Now I just have to cross my fingers for 20 minutes and hope the tickets aren't sold out! Wanted to book em a few days ago, but I'm going with Olivia (my cousin) and her mother (my aunt) and some things got in the way. Maybe we should have a plan B?

Motivation... hmm... what is that?

What made me motivated to lose weight is something I talked about before, so you should know that by now. But maintaining your new weight can be quite difficult. You might think you can eat cake every now and then... Sorry, but you'll only end up the way you looked before (if you don't work out like a maniac, like me). I found a picture of myself that was taken a year ago, I was horrified watching it... I wonder how it even was possible for me to be so blind that I didn't realize my size... When I saw this picture last night, I was first disgusted, and then upset, very upset. How could I let it go that far? This morning, I looked at this picture again, and then stood in front of the mirror, completely naked. Looked at myself for a while and almost dropped a few tears... Thought to myself... wow, what have I done? Who is this 18 kilos smaller woman in the mirror? I look like I've always wanted to... gosh what a feeling this is. Every hungry moment I went through, to get to where I am today... IS SO WORTH IT! So what I want to say is, find a picture of yourself at your heaviest weight, and look at yourself now (If you reached your goal weight and just want to maintain it). I promise, you wont have that piece of chocolate! Hopefully, your motivation will be as strong as mine.

mmmm this is soooo good! The presentation is maybe not that awesome, but you have to try this! The puré is like "mashed potatoes" but a lot healthier and leaner. Carrots are boiled until soft, then put in small pieces of cauliflower and some garlic (I love garlic, I have it in everything). Mix it with a mixer, add some curd cream and whatever spices you want to (I added apple cider vinegar). Add some extra veggies if you want to and tadaaaa you have yourself a skinny meal! This serving is 164 calories!

This day sucks
I am in an exremely bad mood today!
On my way to the gym, I was pissed at the disgusting snow.. It really is impossible to walk in. So after walking halfway, I kicked and cursed the snow and walked back. Now I sit in my couch, feeling ridiculously stupid because of my attitude against everything today. It is not PMS... I wish it was... I feel like eating a big piece of chocolate mudcake with whipped cream, but then I would just be even more upset because I didn't work out at the gym. What I also am pissed about, is the stupid "Poke" thing on Facebook... Stop poking me! Just tell me what you want and don't poke forever. I almost laugh a little because I feel like a retard... And I'm also damn annoyed by people that are so negative in their status on facebook... everyone is complaining... who needs to know that your best friend is a "fucking slut" or that you missed the bus and had to wait for the next one... Which is TOTALLY SHITTY accordingly to your status. And why does people put a quote there from someone famous, a writer, a lyric or whatever. AAAH! Now Jay-z and Alicia keys are screaming "Neeew Yooork" on MTV, SHUT UP!!!!!
I must also add that it's freakin fantastic that I live right next to a preschool... and the not so lovely kids LOVE to trow snowballs at my window. I'm lighting a cigarette!

For those of you that don't understand she basically claims having the same problem that many women/men that diet has (In my own opinion). You want to loose weight, and you want it fast so you go extreme, don't eat much or nothing at all for a few days. What happens is that your body doesn't get what it needs, so you binge like crazy after a few days and gain all the weight back, and sometimes more. Big problem and also a big mistake! I could easily loose many more kilos in a short period of time because I know how to do it correctly. Food can be your enemy, but it is indeed your best friend if you choose the right kinds of food!
To demonstrate this, I want to show you how much I've been eating today. It is 7 pm when I type this. My stomach is as big as a balloon. I feel satisfied, full and don't crave anything.
Everything is in order, from morning to now.
- 140 g Apple
- 62 g Light Cottage cheese
- 14 g Caviar
- 45 g fat free mayo
- 32 g Cucumber
- 125 g Cod ("Torsk" in swedish)
- 159 g Strawberries
- 60 g Light curd cream ("Kesella lätt" in swedish)
- 79 g Sauerkraut ("Surkål" in swedish)
- 62 g Mushroom
- 75 g Light curd cream
- 214 g Strawberries
- 50 g Light curd cream

- 319 g Apple (one whole apple)

Can you guess how many calories this is? It looks like I've been eating thousands of calories. But this is ONLY 885 calories!!! (eat a pastry and you're almost there). To be under 1000 calories a day is called "starvation", ridiculous huh? Remember that I said once that it's easier for me to loose weight than to maintain or gain weight? Do you believe me now? I need to eat about 900 more to not loose a few numbers on the scale tomorrow. The curd cream is a great source of protein (100g = 13g protein, 3.5g carbs, 1g fat). I mix it with fruit or add it on salads, in my food. Mix it with spices and use it as a thicker dressing or just eat it like it is.
How much should you eat? - This is very individual, it can vary a lot from one person to another. First of all, you need to calculate how many calories you burn during 24 hours. If you sleep for 24 hours, you'd burn about 1400 calories (if you're my weight and height). Just this should tell you to eat more than what people normally do when they "diet".
Do not starve yourselves, you're too amazing to do that ♥ :)
About exercising - This is crucial for a healthy living and a LONGER LIFE. When I first started my weight loss journey, I got our and ran 3 km, it took me an hour! I stopped after 2 minutes, walked for a while and then ran again until I ran 3 laps in the park. The week after, I increased it to 4 laps and one more every new week until I could run 10 laps. To not make it boring after a few weeks or months, I changed it to Monday - 5km, Tuesday, 6km and so on until Saturday 10km and a good rest on Sunday. So what I want to say is that you should start slowly and increase when you need more of a challenge. Don't go out too strong, you'll give up fast because it's to hard or boring.
Today, I run 10km in 50 minutes, which would take me hours last year. I do not exercise as much now though, I just exercise so my heart keeps a strong beat.
I think (and hope) that this is the answers to your questions. If you follow this lifestyle, you will be thin, healthy, have a glowing skin and feel AWESOME! I do! :D

Skinny snack
I've been up since early this morning, studying like a maniac for all my furute tests. Took a break to go out for a walk and then made a snack. Because it's cold outside, I wanted to eat something warm right after. I cut an apple into small pieces, heated them in a pan in (nothing but a little water added). It can taste good to diet!

Just came back home from a long walk and made this! It is frozen strawberries with watermelon and some flaxseeds on top (good for your stomach and intestines). 143 grams of strawberries, 100 grams of watermelon = 93 calories! Like an ice cream sorbet, but without all of the extra calories and sugars.
(I am no longer on a weight loss diet, I eat to maintain my weight. I just want to show you what you can eat to loose weight!)
